Background Information:

With the adoption of the amendment to Board Policy #6.200 – Attendance, Board Policy #6.316 – Suspension/Expulsion/Remand needs to be amended to eliminate the section addressing Saturday School. The requested amendment will eliminate lines 26 – 33 on page 3 of the policy. The amendment will not add anything new to the policy; therefore, I am requesting that this amendment be approved on the first and final reading.

I recommend approval of the proposed amendment on first and final reading.
